For those who have never experienced it, the local town or village Feria is the very essence of Spain. Noise, music, dancing, flamenco dresses, fireworks on the beach.

Fairground rides, processions, all day eating and drinking in the town centre and dancing until dawn at the free concerts.

All of this and more were the order of the day at San Pedro’s recent Feria.

Whole families turn out to experience the fun.

Always held in the middle week in October, the weather can be a little unpredictable but this year the sun shone by day and the nights were clear and bright.

If you are here during that week in October, go and join in the fun.

Everybody is welcome, wherever they come from.
