A new ‘010’ citizen telephone service has been launched by the Marbella Town Hall and enquiries, complaints and suggestions can be dealt with in seven different languages (Spanish, English, German, Italian, French, Arabic and Dutch). Users can ask for municipal information or lodge enquiries which will be passed on to the corresponding Town Hall department. The Mayor, Angeles Muñoz, said that the launch “is a fundamental step forward in having a town council which is closer to the citizens and which provides improved services.” The 010 service is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. although the Town Hall says it could be extended it to 24 hours in the future.
