The whole of Spain took to the streets last night when Spain won the Euro 2008 football Championship final, their first major football honour in 44 years.

Thousands watched on big screens in Marbella, San Pedro and Estepona as Liverpool's Fernando Torres scored the winning goal after 33 minutes.

After the match, the streets were alive with the blaring of car horns and wild celebrations which went on well into the night.
